  • Oh Poppi is based in Home Hill, North Queensland. We operate out of a purpose-built private studio located on a sugar cane farm. We work predominantly in Townsville and the Whitsundays but nowhere is out of our reach.

  • While we focus on weddings and intimate love ‘affairs’, we also provide florals and styling for corporate and personal events. If you want to add a little floral magic to an event, please get in touch by emailing hello@ohpoppi.com.au. Please note we have a minimum spend of $3,000 applied across all services.

  • Absolutely. Our styling inventory is extensive with great consideration given to sourcing unique and unexpected pieces and is only available to our floral clients. We no longer provide styling as a service on its own but can offer full styling services to our floral clients including concept development, vendor selection, layout plans, and styling piece recommendations.

  • Due to the nature of a studio-based floral business, we order florals specifically for each event. To ensure we deliver the highest quality of florals, styling and attention to detail for your day, we have the following minimum spends:

    • A minimum spend of $3000.00 + GST applies to all floral services.

    • Weddings involving ceremony and reception florals $5,000 + GST

  • We wish – so much! Majority of the flowers in our designs are sourced through flower wholesalers based in south-east Queensland. Some of these flowers are from local Australian growers and some are imported. We supplement and embellish our designs with flowers grown from our micro-farm.

    Due to the harsh tropical climate of North Queensland we can only grow blooms from April through to October and as we grow open-field our flowers are susceptible to humidity, rain and pests. When the stars and petals align, we have buckets of locally grown ‘perfectly imperfect’ stems to include in designs, which is truly magic.

  • Please note we will be on a sabbatical for 2024. When we do take bookings, we take bookings 9-12 months in advance and only take on a maximum of 20 weddings each year, offering a truly bespoke service. This is to ensure we can give our clients the time and attention they deserve and allow time for growing flowers, too.

  • Absolutely. Our styling inventory is extensive with great consideration given to sourcing unique and unexpected pieces and is only available to our floral clients. We no longer provide styling as a service on its own but can offer full styling services to our floral clients including concept development, vendor selection, layout plans, and styling piece recommendations.

  • Here’s a snippet of what you can expect if you engage Oh Poppi to provide floral and styling services.

    • Enquire: Complete our enquiry form with basic information to get us started. Expect a response within 7 days.

    • Phone or Zoom Consultation: Once I’ve received the completed inquiry form, I’ll send an email confirming my availability for your date. If Oh Poppi is available, we’ll schedule a phone consultation to talk flower power for your event.

    • Proposal and Concept: Once we’ve connected, I’ll create a quote and a concept based on our discussion. The concept will provide a general vibe, aesthetic, and colour palette for your day. A useful tool for you to refer to when making other inventory and styling item choices such as stationery.

    Quotes are valid for 14 days to give you some time to discuss with your partner. We can also adjust quotes and make any changes required.

    • Confirmation: If the quote and concept align with your vision and needs, a 30% booking fee is payable and I’ll send you the Oh Poppi Client Wedding and Event Contract. Once the booking fee is paid and the contract signed, you are officially an Oh Poppi client and your date is secured!

    • Final Consultation: We’ll connect 6-8 weeks again before your wedding to review your initial quote and concept and make any changes/adjustments as required. We can always add to the quote and shuffle things if required. However, the total investment amount cannot be reduced.

    Not having things completely locked in until this point allows you to explore ideas and concepts. You might see something or lots of things you like. Visions evolve over time. So pin, save, and screenshot until your heart's content.
